A DC ceiling fan uses a direct-current motor that draws a fraction of the power of an equivalent AC fan, runs close to silently, and gives you six or more speeds plus reverse for pushing warm air back down in winter. This is the largest part of the fan range, with Eglo, Martec, Brilliant and Domus models from 48 inches up to the 84-inch Martec Albatross II, available with or without LED light kits. IP66-rated options such as the Eglo Tahiti suit covered outdoor areas, and remote control is standard on nearly every model.
